Over the last 24 months, we’ve seen great demand for Surface in education, which has nearly doubled its presence in classrooms around the world. Bringing the power of Surface devices to the classroom also means creating flexible and robust warranty programs that help schools more easily manage and deploy Surface.

With this in mind, Microsoft has recently launched the Surface Complete for Education warranty bundle.  Surface Complete for Education is an extended 3 year warranty designed to give schools and educational institutions access to accidental damage protection, claims sharing, exclusive end-user device training tailored to education, and onboarding resources.

• Protecting your device – Accidents happen.  With Surface Complete for Education you get 3 years of accidental damage protection – even from drops and spills.  Schools can be assured that if a student or staff member has an unfortunate spill or drop with their Surface, they will still be eligible for a replacement, and the process will be seamless and easy.
• Claims sharing – Your accidental damage claims are grouped together allowing school IT departments to pool accidental damage, independent of which device user requested a new claim. For example, if your school decided to purchase 250 Surface Pro 4 devices with the Complete for Education, your school would be eligible for up to 250 accidental damage claims across ALL your devices. This means warranties don’t have to be tied to a specific device.
• Advanced exchange – No one wants to be without devices whilst they are being fixed. Surface Complete for Education ensures that you have a replacement device whilst the other is off-site being repaired.  We will even supply packaging, saving the need to provide your own packaging to make the return.
• Onboarding – The Onboarding Desk will help you get up and running smoothly and give you access to FAQs and instructions on how to make a claim.
• Training – Surface Complete for Education provides up to three live online or onsite training sessions designed with your institution in mind. You will have access to Smart Start resources including content on how to use your devices and Windows 10, making your more confident with your new Surface.
