Win a playground for a school!

Febreze and Tesco, in partnership with TerraCycle, want kids to enjoy fresh air in the home and outside by turning plastic packaging into playgrounds. Win a playground for a school by signing up to the competition by the 28th September 2018.

Bringing the topic of sustainability and environment protection to children’s attention is of paramount importance, but can be challenging. Febreze and Tesco, in partnership with TerraCycle want to help to raise awareness about plastic packaging recycling amongst the youngest by giving their schools a chance to win a sustainable playing field. Construction of a playground made from recycled plastic shows that what was previously considered non-recyclable, will now be turned into a playing field – not everything has to go to the trash bin!

Primary schools wishing to participate can sign up to the competition until the 28th September 2017 at the following website: http://www.terracycle.co.uk/en-UK/pages/win-a-playground-for-a-school . From 4th October, communities around the UK can vote for schools in their area to win the competition. The school which receives the highest number of votes by the 14th November will win the grand prize – its very own recycled plastic playground.

By recycling plastic, Febreze and Tesco, in partnership with TerraCycle, help to reduce plastic litter from entering nature’s playground and polluting the planet, instead creating play areas for kids to enjoy a bit of fresh air everywhere.
