It is a sad reality that over a third of our teenagers are currently falling victim to Internet bullying, and the Government has now announced a major new crackdown to stamp out the abuse, which costs many teenagers their happiness, their exam results and in some cases their lives.
Internet bullies use the everpopular networking websites like MySpace, Bebo and web broadcaster You Tube to taunt their victims. The Association of Teachers and Lecturers’ Mary Bousted revealed that the bullying does not stop at teenagers and reports that one in five of her members have themselves complained of cyberbullying in the past year alone.
