The Education Show 2012
Published: 06 February, 2012
The recent changes in education have turned next month’s Education Show into a platform for debate, with teachers, school leadership teams, Ofsted and teaching unions gathering at the show (15-17 March, NEC Birmingham) to discuss the latest education issues. The show has always been an engaging mixture of policy, ideals and practical activities, and thousands of resources for visitors to test and compare. The event is also playing host to a premiership footballer, talking about dreams and aspirations in education and launching a nationwide competition for 11-16 year olds that can easily be worked into the curriculum, with a prize that offers an insider’s view of training with either Manchester City or even England.
Professional development is also key at the show; Ofsted inspections, literacy, behaviour, STEM and employability are all part of the event, with all workshops and conferences free.
