Portable washrooms keep hand-hygiene easy
Published:  23 January, 2012

Teaching children good hand-hygiene skills has always been important, but with an emphasis on minimising the spread of infections it has never been so crucial.

TEAL, a specialist manufacturer of portable handwash units, has developed the Kiddiwash range to encourage pre-school and school children into life-saving hand-hygiene habits both in and outside the classroom.

“To stop infections such as the deadly norovirus, C.difficile and the common cold virus, everyone needs to wash their hands under running warm water with soap.   Alcohol rubs just don’t work on those germs,” says Manty Stanley, a director at TEAL.

Kiddiwash includes a choice of portable sinks including the fun-to-use Kiddiwash KW aimed at children 12 months and above, and the KiddiSynk KS for toddlers aged two upwards.

“All of our units work independently of mains water or drainage and some of the units

do not require electricity either so they are fully portable and enable children to wash their hands anytime, anywhere,” says Manty.

Further information and useful support materials such as certificates, colouring templates, guides and even songs, can be found at: www.kiddiwash.com where you can buy online from £144.00 including VAT.
