BETT 2012 will take place from 11-14 January 2012 at London Olympia, featuring more than 650 leading suppliers to the education market, an extensive seminar programme and to quote the organisers, “a high level leader’s conference and numerous exciting features and zones,” making it a real must for key buyers and decision makers.

Continuing the theme of technology, the 2011 Horizon Report by K-12 Education has identified the new technologies that will most likely have the biggest impact on education in the coming five years. Martin Stanton, commercial director of leading learning platform provider, itslearning, gives a snapshot of the report’s findings, looking at which technologies are on the horizon and how they will change the way our schools work (p24).
