The award (previous winners include The National Trust, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose) recognises companies that only use cage-free eggs or egg products and is another prestigious endorsement for Pabulum’s passionate commitment to providing its expanding client base with meals made from fresh, natural ingredients that have been locally and sustainably sourced. It follows hot on the heels of the company’s success in April as winners of Cost Sector Catering publication’s Contract Catering Award and its Bronze accreditation through the prestigious Food for Life Partnership for its work with primary schools on the Isle of Wight.
Pabulum’s Chairman, Deborah Harvey said: “It’s an approach that resonates well with our clients, particularly in the education sector, where the effects of poor diet and unhealthy eating have been well documented. The Good Egg Award shows yet again that we deliver on our promise to deliver honestly good food, and we are proud to be working with both Compassion in World Farming and our local communities to actively promote and encourage the movement towards a more ethical and sustainable food supply.”
