Pinelog explains benefits of hydrotherapy pools
Published:  07 July, 2011

Pinelog has published a new brochure which explains how hydrotherapy swimming pools use the properties of warm water to provide therapeutic benefits in the treatment of injuries and impaired mobility, to relieve pain and generally promote physical wellbeing.

As a member of the Spinal Injuries Association, Headway and The Centre for Accessible Environments, Pinelog has worked with specialists to develop a range of aesthetically pleasing hydrotherapy pools that fulfil the needs of users. They include special heating, ventilation and pool circulation equipment that ensures the temperature of the water and poolside air is always in the vital 32°- 37°C.range and have an automatic purification system designed to give a minimum water turnover of one hour.

The brochure shows examples of recent projects in two areas: larger hydrotherapy pools for special needs schools, hospitals, private practitioners and disabled groups and home pools designed to give maximum benefit to individuals and their families.
