Give Children and Young People a Voice
Published:  07 July, 2011

New resources help involve pupils in decision making. Do you work in a school or educational setting? Need help getting children and young people more involved? Then look no further. . . Participation Works has just launched the latest in its ‘How To’ series, specifically developed for people working in education.

The three new guides use practical examples and case studies to explore how children and young people can be encouraged to make a lasting contribution and have more of a say at school.

The latest titles are:

• How to Engage with Diverse Groups in Schools and Other Educational Settings

• How to Involve Children and Young People in School Governance

• How to Support Inclusive Groups in Schools and Other Educational Settings

The guides cost £1 and can be downloaded from www.participationworks.org.uk/resources

Participation Works is part of leading children’s charity the National Children’s Bureau.
