Victor’s refrigerated units cut electricity usage by up to 50%
Published:  17 June, 2011

Victor has recently launched its new generation of energy-saving refrigerated well and display units. The new systems incorporated into the Synergy range of ‘drop-in’  refrigerated wells, decks, deli units and multi-tier displays have been re-engineered to slash electricity usage by up to 50% (compared to previous models) and meet the EN ISO 23953 standard, providing M1 cabinet class conditions and exceeding climate class 3 for product core temperature.

In operation the new generation of Victor refrigerated blown air units will maintain the core temperature of pre-chilled food below 5ºC even during defrost cycle in ambient temperatures up to 27ºC at a relative humidity of 50%.

This same engineering expertise has been effectively transferred to the Caribbean range of modular counter displays which have been further enhanced by the introduction of a new range of stylish flat glass gantry sneeze screens. Featuring 170mm deep wells with maximum load line indicators to assist in the safe presentation of pre-chilled food, any concerns about maintaining food core temperatures in open display cabinets are a thing of the past.
