The awards are designed to celebrate the sector’s leadership, management, financial and business skills. The Oustanding Library Team award aims to recognise outstanding work within library and information services departments. It covers the academic year 2009-10 and is open to all higher education institutions in the UK.
The six shortlisted universities in the category are: Brunel University; Liverpool John Moores University; London Metropolitan University; Newcastle University; Northumbria University; The University of Sheffield; and the University of Huddersfield
The winner will be announced at the awards dinner on 16 June at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
