LapCabby delight for primary school
Published:  27 May, 2011

Monarch Education Furniture has delighted a primary school that was trying to find a solution for transporting its laptops across its two sites.

Bromham C of E VC Lower School in Bromham won its LapCabby by entering a prize draw at BETT 2011, where the LapCabby Up-Link range was being launched.

The LapCabby Up-Link range features a Wi-Fi access point that enables the unit to be plugged into a school’s local area network (LAN) and a gigabit switch which allows the laptops to remain connected to the LAN even while charging.

Julie Chapman, ICT coordinator at Bromham C of E VC Lower School, said: “I’m sure the unit will be a permanent fixture in the school for many years to come.”

Emma Harrhy, marketing manager at Monarch Education Furniture, said: “More and more primary and secondary schools face storage and charging challenges with their laptops.LapCabby address these challenges, which is why we have had such enormous success both in the UK and overseas.”
