Under the previous agreement, the academic community saved over £2,300,000 in two years purchasing perpetual licences and upgrade protection for their Adobe products.
Adobe produces software such as Acrobat, Photoshop, Flash, InDesign and Dreamweaver, which are widely used in the graphic and web design industry. Under the standard educational scheme, the Adobe Cumulative Licensing Programme (CLP), academic institutions can buy perpetual licences and maintenance at three tiers of discount based on points awarded for their total spend.
Under the renewed Eduserv Adobe Master CLP Agreement all universities and colleges can continue to enjoy the highest level of discount on perpetual licences and maintenance for Adobe’s most popular products. Regardless of their size or spending power – and with no minimum initial order – they will have greater flexibility and choice, knowing that they do not have to count product points or satisfy minimum spend levels.
Richard Kelly, of Accrington and Rossendale College says, “This is excellent news, the new Agreement will make a real difference to our college”.
The software can be purchased through a selection of Adobe Direct Educational Licensing Centres who will offer the Eduserv Adobe Master CLP Agreement - details can be found on the Eduserv site.
