Franklin Watts publishes Espresso Books

Franklin Watts has teamed up with Espresso Education to produce a series of 26 books featuring the popular Espresso characters, who host the Espresso Primary service used in 10,000 primary schools.

Espresso Primary and the service have received numerous accolades including 6 BETT Awards and a BAFTA. In 2010 the CEO of Espresso, Lewis Bronze, got an ‘Outstanding Achievement’ Award at the Education Resources Awards for his contribution to shaping the world of e-learning.

Franklin Watts is publishing 3 different series featuring the Espresso friends:

Espresso Phonics are 12 lively stories that support the teaching of reading through synthetic phonics. Espresso Story Time are 8 fun adventures of no more than 200 words for readers growing in confidence and Espresso Ideas Box offers a wealth of information using a cross-curricular approach to popular topics.

All Espresso titles have an ‘Espresso Connections’ section at the back of the books suggesting further videos and activities on the Espresso Primary service. The books can be used with or without the Espresso Primary service.
