Motivate students to learn MFL vocabulary independently
Published:  08 March, 2011

Vocab Express is a highly motivating web-based MFL vocab learning application for schools which engages students, keeps them actively learning and raises attainment levels.

Teacher workload is minimised through pre-loaded and pre-categorised vocab from the major exam boards and leading publishers of MFL text books. Regular on-line vocab tests can be easily set up with no preparation or marking overhead.

Students are motivated through a points and scoreboard system and all activity may be monitored by the teacher through a comprehensive set of real-time progress tracking tools. Vocab Express can be used for homework, in-class activities or cover lessons.

“Vocab Express is an excellent online and independent tool to aid student revision; helping them to learn important vocabulary whilst giving instant feedback and monitoring their progress at the same time. Students are motivated and engaged in their own learning whilst also enjoying the competitive ‘scoreboard’ element that features in Vocab Express” explains Mrs Katie Lee, assistant headteacher, director of specialism, The Willink School, Reading.
