Tork helps to improve hygiene in schools
Published:  08 March, 2011

Children are highly vulnerable to illness and swine flu has been particularly virulent this year. Thorough handwashing and drying after using the washroom can help to curb the spread of infections and viruses.

Recycled Tork Advanced Green Hand Towel Rolls from SCA Tissue Europe are particularly suitable for school washrooms. They are housed in a high-capacity lockable dispenser that protects the towels from contamination and presents one sheet at a time. This prevents over-consumption while reducing the risk of the towels running out between maintenance checks, which could compromise hygiene.

Soap bars present a hygiene risk when handled by numerous children, some of whom may have colds or ‘flu. Tork Premium Liquid Soaps are housed in a sealed cartridge and the soap is accessed in measured doses to prevent over-consumption and ensure a constant soap supply.

Hygiene could also be compromised if toilet tissue supplies run out, and conventional toilet rolls are vulnerable to contamination, pilferage and vandalism in schools.

The Tork Compact Auto Shift system comprises two compact long-lasting rolls which means the paper is unlikely to run our between maintenance checks, while the lockable dispenser protects the paper inside.
