Link Lockers, the UK’s largest manufacturer of lockers, locker accessories and cupboards, has come top of the class after a primary school headteacher praised the company when it supplied storage solutions for its pupils.
Cathryn Downing, Headteacher at Stamford Park Junior School, in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, said the installation of 279 multi-colour three-quarter height lockers, which are located off the main corridors, has had a dramatic effect on health and safety. “There are no trip hazards from coats and bags on the floor, and there has already been a reduction in lost property.”
Link Lockers’ Sales Director, Joeri Decae confirmed that more and more primary schools are now benefitting enormously from using them. “A common issue with the use of coat hooks in primary school is that coats and bags can clutter up the floor. This can cause tripping hazards and problems in emergency situations where storage areas are positioned along designated escape routes – this is increasingly being picked up by Fire Officers during routine inspections. Lockers create a healthy and safe environment and look smart.”
