With its 2.5mm thick semi-rigid wall cladding system, Altro’s hygienic surface is certified to all EU hygiene standards, as well as fire resistance to Class 0 as defined by the Building Regulations when tested to BS476 Part 6 (installed on to a no combustible substrate). Altro Whiterock is impervious, preventing water ingress into the substrate, thereby avoiding structural damage. It can be hygienically finished around fixtures and fittings; and, unlike a tiled surface, Altro Whiterock does not require grout so the risk of contamination is dramatically reduced. The fully bonded system includes thermoformed internal and external pencil radius corners eliminating bacteria traps while making it extremely easy to clean and disinfect. In addition it is exceptionally resistant to impact, and does not crack or chip.
Altro Whiterock is available in a range of colours with a number of colours within the range being DDA (Disabilities & Discrimination Act) approved. The Altro Whiterock sheets come in lengths of 2.5m or 3m x 1.2m wide along with extrusions and accessories which ensure a professional and long-lasting finish. The product comes with a 20 year warranty, if installed correctly according to Altro guidelines.
