Guardian Teacher Network launches
Published:  08 March, 2011

Guardian News & Media has launched a brand new website, the ‘Guardian Teacher Network’, giving teachers across the country access to one of the largest collections of curriculum resources in the world.

The Guardian Teacher Network is a free resource designed to help teachers plan lessons, assess their class’s progress and share advice and tips with others. Along with 70,000 pages of interactive materials for ages 4-18, the website also contains a unique Test Centre with over 20,000 questions to help teachers test and monitor student performance.

Launching the Teacher Network today, Colin Hughes, Associate Editor of the Guardian, said: “This new website gives teachers access to one of the largest collections of curriculum resources in the world, and all for free. We’ve built the website based on what teachers have told us they need and have taken a very open and flexible approach in the way we have made the resources available. Teachers can tailor the online resources to produce their own material and share this with other colleagues on the website community.”
