Zapkut panel saw in the frame at Minitec
Published:  11 February, 2011

Basingstoke framing system manufacturer Minitec has installed a Zapkut ZK8 vertical panel saw to cut sheet materials in house.

ZK units offer the benefits of fixed wall saws in a portable package. They can be deployed or stowed in seconds by a single operator, and transported in a small van.

Two models are available: the ZK8 for sheets of up to 8' x 4' and the ZK10 for sheets of up to 10' x 5'. Both offer accurate, easy cutting, excellent sheet support, and outstanding stability on almost any surface. Prices start at £945.

The ZK8 has significantly improved Minitec's day-to-day operations. By stocking polycarbonate and polyethylene sheets, correctly-sized pieces can be cut quickly, easily and accurately as they are required for each job.

Minitec Managing Director Gary Livingstone is pleased: "The Zapkut is actively supporting our responsiveness and flexibility," he observed. "We can deliver to tighter deadlines, respond more effectively to rush orders, and generally offer an enhanced service."

Zapkut is expanding its international dealer network and welcomes enquiries.
