sQuid’s the new Quid
Published:  11 February, 2011

sQuid is a new kind of cash; smart cash and it is available to all ages from 7 to 107. sQuid is already active in schools, colleges and universities across the UK and enables parents and pupils to pay for catering, printing, school trips, and photocopying.

sQuid payments are made through either contactless smartcards, online or biometric access. Parents simply register and top up their child’s sQuid account online and the child is then ready to make sQuid payments. Parents have access to an online portal where they can view a breakdown of all transactions. Schools have access to a bespoke online portal where they can view all transactions and manage payments.

sQuid offers a more convenient, safer and efficient way of handling payments for pupils, parents and school administrators…more secure than carrying cash.
