Attendees will have the chance to meet and hear from top British athletes Iwan Thomas, Karen Pickering and Danny Crates, and an official member of the 2012 London team will speak about the preparation for the Games.
Pupils will also take part in their own mini-Olympic games at the centre, trying their hand at sports including archery, fencing, volleyball, badminton and canoeing. All groups will additionally experience a guided tour of the 2012 Olympic Park, and teachers can create additional tailor-made London itineraries.
Available from £149 per pupil, the event includes two nights’ full board accommodation at the state of the art Grosvenor Hall centre, all activities and lectures, plus a guided tour of the Olympic Park in London including coach transfers.
