Randstad Education provides free Cambridge on Ice skate for local school children
Published:  08 December, 2010

A special Cambridge on Ice event, providing local school children with a free skate, took place yesterday in Parkers Piece.  Organised by the Cambridge office of leading UK and global educational staffing specialist Randstad Education, the event attracted over 500 children from local primary and special educational needs (SEN) schools.

The event consisted of three one hour skate sessions between 10am and 1pm and concluded with hot chocolate and a visit from Santa.

Nigel Partridge, business manager at Randstad Education Cambridge comments: “The children attending today’s event are representative of the thousands of young people taught by Randstad Education teachers across Cambridgeshire.

“The day was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.”

Now in its fourth year, Cambridge on Ice is open for a six week season from Saturday 20th November to Sunday 2nd January inclusive (closed Christmas Day).
