Published:  20 September, 2010

The most successful language event in the UK, The Language Show 2010 (15-17 October), will take place at Earls Court, London with 10,000 visitors expected including head teachers, bursars and heads of modern foreign languages.

170 exhibitors will be on hand to offer their expert advice on the latest advancements in teaching technology; from primary and secondary to adult and higher education. Special show-offers will be on the agenda for this year’s event. From discounts on software packages and opening orders to money off the latest publication and teaching aids, this will be an opportunity to walk away with a great deal.

Primary School Teacher Helen Lewis comments ‘The show enables me to see products at first hand, which is not possible by email. Last year I made some useful purchases to support Mandarin and French learning at my primary school’.

Leading speakers from the language industry will be sharing their language experiences and reveal their top teaching and learning ideas in a comprehensive seminar programme of over 100 free presentations. Top teachers include – Russell Stannard, Rachel Hawkes, Luke Meddings, Juliet Park, Joe Dale and Chris Fuller.

Visitors interested in languages can even master Chinese, Spanish, Russian or any of the 20 languages available within intensive language classes and FREE taster classes at the event.

The Language Show also hosts the World Cinema - featuring foreign films from around the world, The Piazza – cultural performances and new product demonstrations, a TEFL Fair – for teachers of English as a foreign language and a dedicated Careers Fair – for people looking to use their language skills in a professional capacity.
