Servis has announced the launch of a design competition to encourage children and art students to express their feelings about tackling climate change. Budding artists will be set the challenge to design the exterior of a fridge freezer with an illustration that expresses what being ‘green’ means to them.
The competition will be split into four categories, under 7 years old, 8 to 11 years old, 12 to 15 years old and 16 plus. Using special technology, the winning design from each category will be printed onto a Servis AM7310 fridge freezer and presented to the winner. The Servis AM7310 fridge freezer is an A+ rated appliance meaning its energy consumption is extremely low.
Entrants can use any methods to design their fridge freezer, paints, computers, collage, etc, but it must fit within the template provided. The design must reflect how the designer interprets what it means to be ‘green’ or environmentally friendly. Schools must send the form to coolart@servisuk.co.uk to register. The first 10 schools to register their involvement in the competition will receive a free Servis fridge freezer.
Closing deadline is 22 June 2007. Please send entries, along with a short paragraph explaining
the design, to: Servis ‘Cool Art’
