ViewSonic Europe has announced the UK launch of the VOT 125, an energy efficient mini-PC that is smaller than a hardback book. Available with a range of processor options the VOT 125 was launched at The Gadget Show 2010 and can be used in any environment from the education market to the corporate sector.
“The cumbersome PC base unit is fast becoming a thing of the past,” explains James Coulson, European marketing manager, ViewSonic. “Advances in hardware and software mean that PC users can have everything they need in a much more compact unit. Very few PCs can display full HD video whilst also maintaining low power consumption and small size. This means that the VOT 125 meets the computing needs of many businesses and home users.”
The VOT 125 is available with Windows 7 Home Premium, but users can also choose the unit without an operating system, if they have already made the investment in licensing. Four USB 2.0 ports on the front and back of the unit make the mini PC easily connectable to a multitude of peripherals, and highly versatile for a variety of business uses.
