Functional Skills is a new qualification in Maths, English and ICT, as part of the government's reform agenda for the 14-19 curriculum, which will become mandatory in 2010.
Edexcel will be delivering the new qualification in Functional Skills, and are in fact currently piloting the scheme in a handful of schools/academies across the country.
