Studies show that approximately one in five school-age children* have problems with their sight which have not been detected. With the launch of the I-test vision screener, there’s now an easy way to identify vision problems in the classroom at an early stage – something that is vital in helping children to fulfil their true academic potential.
I-test is a real innovation in screening for problems of both long and short-sightedness. With this single piece of equipment, a school nurse or teacher can screen for the most common vision problems within minutes and inform parents that a full eye test at the opticians would be advisable.
I-test is very simple to use and does not require any power source. It combines the technology of a range of precision moulded plastic lenses in two optical disks. Hand-held like a pair of binoculars, the child looks through the lens window and rotates the optical disk wheels on each side until he or she can see as clearly as possible. I-test has been classified by the Department of Health, Medicine and Health products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) as a Class 1 Screening Device.
The I-test Professional Vision Screener is priced at £99.50. For more information or product shots, please contact Gavin Refoy on:
