The Skills Show, the UK's largest skills and careers event, is inviting colleges and training organisations from across the country to take part in its Showcase performances at this year’s event, which will be held in Birmingham at the NEC from the 14th to 16thNovember 2013.
Designed for visitors to learn more about a particular skill, the courses they can study and the career paths available to them, Showcase performances are intended to surprise and inspire visitors through a highly visual, stimulating and entertainment-led programme. Demonstrating the skills of students, trainees or apprentices in front of around 75,000 people, the Showcase programme is one of the focal points of The Skills Show, and with limited places available, competition to be selected to perform is likely to be high.

From 14 to 16 March 2013, The Education Show returned to the NEC, Birmingham, for what promised to be the UK’s largest showcase of educational resources, best practice methods and continuing professional development (CPD) training.
The free-to-attend event didn’t disappoint and welcomed education professionals from all over the country to collaborate with peers, discuss policy and practice and compare resources.

Between 30 January and 2 February this year, thousands of visitors descended upon London’s ExCeL arena for what had been described as the ‘world’s leading learning technology event’: Bett 2013 had begun.
Many exhibitors and visitors had been apprehensive about the move from the Olympia, where the show has been held for the past 28 years, but their fears were unfounded.
Bett 2013 celebrates its 29th anniversary with a new venue and an event that plans to be bigger and better than ever before.
Bett 2013, the world’s leading event for learning technology, is fast approaching. Taking place from 30 January to 2 February 2013 at ExCeL London, the event will bring together more than 700 exhibitors and more than 30,000 visitors.
