‘E-Safety Live’ regional events provide guidance and clarity around online safety

The South West Grid for Learning Trust, supported by Ashfords Solicitors, recently hosted a series of events across the south west to address the concerns of education professionals about internet safety and gave practical advice on managing the legal risks arising from online activity.

The most successful language event in the UK, The Language Show 2010 (15-17 October), will take place at Earls Court, London with 10,000 visitors expected including head teachers, bursars and heads of modern foreign languages.

Leading Lights Announced In STEMNET Awards

The 2010 STEMNET Awards took place on Monday 21st June 2010.  The Awards highlight the extraordinary achievements of individuals and organisations in energising STEM learning to captivate the next generation of scientists.  The Awards, run by STEMNET (the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network), were presented to winning individuals and organisations by writer, broadcaster and scientist, Vivienne Parry, at a ceremony at the House of Lords,  hosted by Lord Oxburgh.
