New kitchen ventilation from Ledaire
Published:  19 June, 2008

Ledaire Fabrications has expanded its range of kitchen ventilation systems and confirmed that they meet the requirements of the latest British Standard 6173 and the HVCA Kitchen Ventilation Systems Standard DW 172.

Ledaire's stainless steel canopy and hood fabrications are produced to individual specifications for commercial and public sector kitchens varying from fast food outlets to hotel complexes, from old people's homes to large schools and from exclusive restaurants to large public sector kitchens.

They combine the extraction of grease laden air, steam and fumes with the supply of air to provide a comfortable environment.

Cool air can be brought into a working area through insulated sections of the hood via dampened air grilles.

Energy savings can be improved by using Ledaire induced air hoods, which reduce the amount of heated air being wasted through a conventional hood.

In fact, such a hood uses only about 20% of the total volume of air exhausted from the kitchen, the rest is fresh air from outside.
