Presentation solutions provider Scotia UK plc facilitated the installation and training for the school on behalf of 3M. The two SCP712 projection systems are installed in the dining hall, a true multi-purpose room, and in the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) room, one of the smallest classrooms in the school.
After seeing them in action at BETT, the school ordered two SCP712 projection systems with XGA projector and folding wall-mount attachment with integrated speakers. "The folding wall-mount attachment gave us more flexibility and space than a ceiling mounted system," explained Deborah Good, Business Manager at All Saints School. "This is particularly valuable in the SENCO room, as it allows children to move around the room when the system is not in use."
The school also specified the optional annotation pod to be used with the system in the dining hall. The pod effectively converts dry erase boards, or even smooth, light coloured walls into interactive whiteboards. "The system is more robust and also easier to protect than a conventional interactive whiteboard," explained Good.
"This solution completes our IT requirements for the near future, and we are very pleased with the enhancement to our capabilities as a leading school for IT in Medway," added Good.
