It was as a result of his own experiences as a teenager that Sean Covey wrote "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers."  The book became an instant best seller, and has since sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

So great has been the success of the book that the FranklinCovey organisation has now developed the ideas from the book and turned them into a accredited qualification which supports the PSHE curriculum.   It also helps teachers to work with teenagers in such a way that the teenagers can get the most out of their lives.

Teachers interested in using this unique approach can now take part in a training programme run by FranklinCovey which shows them the techniques which can be used to help teenagers overcome the challenges and pressures that teenagers experience.

Having taken the one-day course teachers will then be able to run the new QCA recognised level 2 Certificate in Personal Effectiveness which FranklinCovey have developed, in their own schools.   The programme has already been welcomed by the government and has been awarded LSC funding.

The one-day training programme is now being offered at centres throughout the country, with all the relevant course materials are being provided by the FranklinCovey organisation.
