SICO reducing carbon footprint

ICO Europe has been manufacturing in the UK for 40 years. Whilst engineering excellence is a priority, SICO also strives to make its production procedures as efficient as possible in order to reduce its carbon footprint. This is achieved through the implementation of LEAN manufacturing which focuses on eliminating wasteful processes.

SICO products have an extremely long life-cycle, thereby reducing waste, landfill, disposal costs, freight costs and repair costs. Preventive maintenance agreements can further extend product lifespan through regular maintenance carried out by SICO's own specialist service engineers.

To help raise awareness of climate change in schools, SICO has designed a special laminate for its table seating units that addresses the issues of global warming and ways in which we can be more environmentally friendly.
