Hope Education joins forces with award winning eco school
Published:  10 April, 2008

Hope Education has joined forces with award-winning and ‘Eco School Green Flag' accredited Woodheys Primary, to help it further improve the teaching of the environmental curriculum to its pupils, by donating a large range of teaching resources from its 2008 catalogue.

Hope believes that learning about the environment at an early age is fundamental to pupils' awareness and ability to be responsible citizens, and so it is supporting Trafford-based school, Woodheys, which has become internationally recognised for its environmental projects.

Woodheys has won worldwide admiration and a raft of awards, such as the ‘2005 David Bellamy Award for Environmental Cleanliness' and the ‘2007 Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy in Schools', for its work on the Environment and raising awareness of the issues facing children today.

The product donations include a large selection of products from Hope's new Environmental range, including a Renewable Energy Kit which can be used either indoors or outdoors and a Comprehensive Solar Electricity Set, designed to expand knowledge of the measurement and application of solar power.
