Meiko's Sales Director, Michael Boyd was delighted to present a high achievement plaque to Peter Dinan, Group Sales Director of major cooking equipment distributor, Advanced Catering Equipment. The award is in recognition of outstanding sales of Meiko's front-loading, hood-type warewashing systems.
Another award, this time presented to Meiko, was for product excellence in Caterer & Hotelkeeper's Hygiene and Waste Management Category 2008. Winning the award for Meiko was the new Microvac food waste vacuum system.
The Microvac system, one of Meiko's Partner Products, is designed to handle, transport and store food waste in a range of high volume locations including, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools and contract catering sites.
The system, showing for the first time at Hotelympia, uses high vacuum to transport food waste from the point of disposal to the point of storage, where the food slurry is then transported to a waste handling facility, or bio-gas/composting plant.
Whilst winning and presenting awards is recognition for Meiko's product excellence and service expertise and reliability, the company experienced one of the highest volume of quality sales enquiries received at a Hotelympia. All in all, an excellent show!
