That is why eteach.com, the UK's number one education recruitment website, has launched a more in-depth, extended news service to compliment its existing free daily news feed.
Daily Education News from eteach.com, the first service of its kind to be launched in the UK, has been designed to provide fast, easy-to-read education news for everyone working in education, from school and college leaders and managers to classroom teachers and support staff.
The latest news is posted every morning by 9am, and brings together education-related news items, sourced from the UK's leading media outlets, including the BBC and all major national newspapers. Readers can simply scan a précis on their laptops or PCs of the latest news stories or link to the full articles for more depth.
Eteach has now added to its free service with a regular updated commentary and analysis of each week's main education stories. Subscribers to this additional new service will also be able to link through to the popular eteach.com online forum, where they can express and exchange their views on education with a global audience.
Another useful element of the subscription service will be the ‘Westminster and Whitehall' section. Here readers will be able to find out about all the latest legislation affecting the education sector and follow the progress of DCSF projects, plans and proposals.
Subscribers to the new service will also have access to the latest information coming out of think tanks on education matters. This will give readers the ‘heads up' on leading-edge thinking about education policy and practice.
In another section, readers will also be able to find out what conferences and events are taking place and decide which ones are the most relevant to them and their school or college. This section will not only let you know what's happening where and when, but will offer a description of each event taking place.
Individual subscriptions cost £30 a year, which works out at a pocket-friendly 60 pence a week, all payable online! Alternatively the service is available for group subscription at a cost of £150 for primary schools or £250 for secondary schools.
Eteach.com Managing Director David McGahey said: "Having worked in education for more than 25 years I know how important it is for those in schools and colleges to keep up to date with all the latest developments that may affect them. Those working in education often don't have the time to scan the daily papers to find out what is going on in the world of education. That is why we have been offering a service that compiles all of the breaking news stories from across the national daily news papers and news sources and brings them into one place and why we are now launching this additional in-depth service.
"The news service is updated every morning which ensures our readers know the key education-related news. It provides a cheaper, faster, greener and altogether better way of keeping informed of all the latest education news, views and events."
The launch of the new in-depth subscription service is one of a number of exciting new developments planned by eteach.com. It will be available at a cost that clearly compares favourably with other weekly or monthly printed publications.
Other new services from eteach.com include the launch of a number of software applications to help with the management of recruitment in schools, colleges and local authorities.
As a preview of the full Daily Education News service, eteach.com will be distributing a printed newspaper which you will receive later this month. This will be the first and last printed newspaper you will ever need to read!
