Book Review competition
Published:  15 February, 2008

This month sees the launch of a national campaign to get more primary school children reading.  The "2008 Nobby Travels National Children's Book Review" competition is the brainchild of husband and wife team Darren & Julia Spence, authors of the children's books, Nobby Travels.

As part of the 2008 Nobby Travels National Children's Book Review, primary children are invited to read a book - and write a review of it. Any title they like.  The organisers are asking teachers and parents to support the campaign by encouraging children to read in class and in the home.  There are prizes of up to £1,000 to be won.

The Nobby Travels books were first showcased by the couple on the BBC hit show, Dragons' Den and their publishing company, Weird Grape, that was set up less than a year ago was last month shortlisted to win the most innovative publisher of the year award by the Independent Publishers Guild.
