Visitors to Stand 233 will be amongst the first to trial the new calculator, which enables specifiers, LEAs, headteachers and bursars to measure the potential fuel and CO2 savings that can be achieved by replacing a school’s windows.
In addition to the calculator, specifiers can also access a free fenestration audit to help them evaluate their window requirements, which can be conducted by WHS Halo System 10’s two newly qualified BREEAM-approved school assessors.
The new calculator takes a school’s existing and new window frames, plus its heating fuel source and total window area to provide indicators of the potential cumulative energy savings and reductions in CO2 that can be achieved over a one, five and ten year period.
WHS Halo System 10 offers a market-leading range of windows, doors and curtain walling for new-build and refurbishment programmes.
