Goal online assessments are aligned to the National Curriculum and measure pupil progress and performance. They are designed to monitor both individual and class development whilst giving diagnostic and formative feedback that supports effective teaching, learning and target setting. Helping schools to prepare for Ofsted inspections and climb the league tables, Goal online assessments enable head teachers to identify weaknesses and improve overall school performance.
The new interactive mathematics assessment allows pupils to do almost anything on-screen that they could write on a piece of paper. A virtual calculator is available for more complex questions involving calculations such as percentages, square roots and trigonometry. Pupils can drag and drop, check boxes and use on-screen rulers and protractors to measure angles, draw pie charts and much more.
The updated Goal ICT interactive assessments include a number of new questions to measure ICT knowledge, skills and application to problems. Pupils can demonstrate that they can use spreadsheets, prepare PowerPoint type presentations, and use databases as well as searching the internet and sending emails.
