New digital full colour MFP for schools
Published:  18 January, 2008

Sharp has launched the MX-1800N to join its range of digital, full colour multifunctional printers (MFPs) delivering professional finishing, high productivity and environmental performance for the education market.

The new model has an output speed of 18ppm for both colour and black and white and delivers high quality imaging and networking printing and scanning functions for documents up to A3 in size.

Cost efficiency and environmentally conscious design To satisfy demand in SMBs for increased control over the cost and usage of colour MFPs to reduce environmental impact and boost productivity, the MX-1800 has energy-saving features such as low toner consumption and a long-life photoconductor. Its environmentally conscious design features productive black and white output and low colour usage – effectively replacing existing inkjet or laser printers.

Cartridges are made from recyclable plastic and there is also substantially less packaging due to the size reduction.
