EcoPart works as a water/water unit which utilises a closed collector loop, either borehole or ground loop, extracting low temperature heat from bedrock, ground and lake heat sources.
The heat pump comes in three sizes for 230Vsingle phase supply: from 5 – 10.5 kW and in five sizes in 400V 3 phase supply: from 5 – 12 kW and its compact design makes it highly suitable for installations where space is limited.
Nu-way’s patented intercooler provides high efficiency and economy as well as ensuring long life of the unit. EcoPart can be used with single and double pipe systems, convectors and underfloor heating.
Other features include near silent operation and built in soft starter. Additionally, EcoPart also has the ability to be integrated with a 1550 Nu-way EcoEl which will provide the same operation and function as the larger Nu-way EcoHeat heat pump delivering a complete heating and domestic hot water solution.
In conjunction with the new products, Nu-way has also established a renewable energy training centre at its Droitwich headquarters which it describes as a modern facility comprising lecture rooms plus installed, fully operational equipment providing delegates with the opportunity to obtain practical, hands on technical and installation experience.
