The ‘Nobby Travels’ series by Darren & Julia
Spence follows the adventures of a cheeky but very cute chocolate lab, Nobby
Published:  01 October, 2007

Nobby’s owners think he is fast asleep, but each night the naughty puppy goes through his magical dogflap and arrives in magical places where he meets new friends, tries interesting foods and visits amazing landmarks. After a tiring night out, he returns home, often taking with him a souvenir from his trip, which causes no end of confusion for his owners but the readers are in on the secret and know where he has been.

In ‘Nobby Travels to Scotland’ he is accompanied by Jock, a Scottish Terrier, who introduces him to Nessie and the fun of the Highland Games. He explores Paris with Trixabelle who takes him to the top of the Eiffel Tower and goes in search of Father Christmas with Naris, the Huskie, in Lapland.

From the vibrant images and imaginative storylines to the handy carry bag and corresponding website, ‘Nobby Travels’ is an ingenious mix of fact and fiction that provides a refreshing approach to teaching 4 to 8 year olds about the world they live in.

The books will be available in packs of 5 (Australia, France, Hollywood, Scotland and Wales) from the www.nobbytravels.com website and bookstores from 01 November 2007 and ‘Nobby Travels to Lapland’ is due to be published as a single book in time for Christmas.
