These figures make students who were fortunate enough to be in schools that worked with Apply2Uni 22% more likely to get a place at a university of their choice.
Recently released figures from UCAS reveal that an astonishing 115,414 applicants failed to be offered any place at all at university last year.
“We’re not only working to help students get a place in the first university of their choice; we are also working with many of this vast army of students who don’t get any offers whatsoever,” said Matt Green, Managing Director of Apply2Uni.
Apply2Uni’s achievement in raising the chances of students getting a place at university is based around two courses that it runs in schools throughout the year. One focuses on the personal statement that all students have to write, and the other on interview skills.
Matt Green concludes, “The figures show that an intensive course run in the school really can help students to express their own personalities in a way that appeals to universities and raises their chance of getting an offer of a university place.”
