Give your VLE the great content it deserves
Published:  01 June, 2007

Discover the benefits of a virtual learning environment (VLE) by populating your platform with Birchfield Interactive’s VLE Content Packs.

Compatible with all leading and BECTA-approved VLE platforms, Birchfield has translated its award-winning content for 15 curriculum subjects into fully tagged, SCORM compliant, structured resources that can be used by teachers and pupils in school and at home.

Each pack contains 3-D animation, stunning graphics, video footage, text and audio files for a specific secondary school subject topic, plus drag & drop activities and multiple choice questions. Installed in five easy steps, the software works seamlessly with a VLE, allowing teachers to monitor pupils’ progress.

Available as single subjects or a whole school solution for a simple one-off payment, schools can even use their e-Learning credits as full or part payment for the content.

Jonathan Case, Chief Executive at Birchfield Interactive, commented: “As more and more schools invest in VLEs, it’s imperative that educational software suppliers develop high quality content to maximise the benefits of these new learning platforms. The 16000+ resources featured within our Content Packs are a great starting point for schools to initially populate their VLEs; and over the coming months, we will also roll-out a series of educational VLE games to help personalise learning in a fun, engaging way.”

Further information about Birchfield’s VLE range, including a free 15-page, multi-subject downloadable sample, is available at www.birchfield.co.uk/vle. Requests for 28-day trials of the Content Packs can also be made online or by calling:
