Join England captain John Terry and make every kick go a long way!
Published:  15 May, 2007

Do you want to organise a fun event for your school or club? Do you want to keep your kids active and encourage them to think about others? If so then CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, has got just the thing for you. Throughout May and June the charity runs a campaign called ‘Kick for CLIC Sargent’, the fun football event for children of all ages and abilities.

Taking part is simple as CLIC Sargent provides everything you need for a great event, right down to the footballs! It’s even been designed to link into Key Stages 1 and 2 of the national curriculum. Just decide what football related activity you want to do (it can be anything from penalty shoot-outs to a mini-tournament) then help your children to get sponsored. And what’s more – your school gets to keep 25% of the money raised whilst knowing the other 75% is helping children with cancer.

This is one event they won’t find dull – it’s endorsed by England hero John Terry, who says:

“As England and Chelsea Captain I am right behind Kick for CLIC Sargent! Not only is it a healthy way for children to get involved in football, but it is a fantastic way to support such a great cause.”

Every school that registers is also in with a chance of winning John Terry signed goodies!
