The EL-W531B/GB also comes with PC emulation software. The software, designed for use with data projectors and interactive whiteboards, allows each step within a problem to be demonstrated to a student group who can follow it on their individual calculators. The PC emulation software is included free with an order of 30 or more calculator units.
Sharp has also developed a comprehensive set of support material for both teachers and students. The resource pack includes an operation manual, pupil worksheets, teacher worksheets and details of Sharp’s UK website on which more documentation and classroom materials are held. The worksheets, which include problems, points for discussion and ideas for extended study, encourage students to selfdevelop their understanding of the EL-W531B/GB WriteView’s extended functionality and capability.
