St Helen’s College Selects OrgPlus® from HumanConcepts for Workforce Visualisation and to Deliver Establishment Control
Published:  29 January, 2010

OrgPlus® from HumanConcepts has been chosen by St Helens College, Greater Merseyside, to provide a unified view of their workforce. OrgPlus has enabled HR staff at St Helen’s College to automatically create accurate visual representations of the college’s workforce structure.  OrgPlus reads HR data directly from the college’s HR management system, NorthgateArinso ResourceLink, allowing the college to monitor establishment control. Any grading or salary discrepancies across departments throughout the college are now clearly highlighted.

OrgPlus replaces various software packages for HR data visualisation and helps streamline processes for HR staff allowing them to focus on more strategic work. The solution provides a consistent format and methodology for visualising HR data which is quick and easy to use. HR and senior management can now visualise the college’s entire organisation and more easily align the workforce to deliver better education and training services to its students to meet changing demands.

“OrgPlus has provided us with a unified view of the workforce which can be easily communicated,” said John Hays, Head of Human Resources at St Helen’s College. “We have also seen improvements in data accuracy. We have only just started using OrgPlus and we’re excited about using its full potential for measuring KPI’s, budgeting, producing HR metrics and delivering establishment control.”

OrgPlus enables HR professionals and senior management to find, view, understand, plan and manage their workforce – from creating a basic organisational understanding to fuelling sophisticated workforce analysis and management, including succession planning, budgeting and communicating a corporate employee directory. In addition, OrgPlus facilitates ‘what if’ scenario planning which is critical for successful change management.
