Microsoft announces teacher competition at BETT
Published: 29 January, 2010
At this year’s BETT Microsoft will be reflecting on the way children learn today and how they’re motivated, as well as encouraging old habits from the past to change as we move into 2010 and beyond. To encourage this Microsoft will be announcing a new addition to Microsoft Office which is free and designed to help teachers use digital content more easily in their teaching. We believe that creating an immersive multimedia experience where teachers can customise lessons and create interactive environments will enable them to better engage with their students.
Microsoft will also be launching the latest version of the Partners In Learning network which has already been nominated for a BETT award this year. As well as discussing our products and services, we’ll also be announcing a competition for the best teaching ideas and the grand prize is nothing less than enough computers to fill up a classroom. In addition, we’ll have a big batch of free USB memory sticks for our stand visitors! We look forward to seeing you at the Microsoft stand!
