Exciting New Videoconferencing Service Enhancements
Published: 29 January, 2010
With JANET Videoconferencing Service (JVCS) you can view videoconferences in high definition, bringing the classroom to life with even better interaction and razor sharp images.
New for BETT 2010 is a videoconference recording service allowing teachers to record videoconferences, so students and staff can download them at any time and from any computer; and a new ‘streaming’ feature, that allows you to stream a live videoconference to viewers other than the ones attending.
In addition, a new ConferenceMe feature to JVCS means that participants can invite others to take part in sessions via a web link. This allows those who don’t have dedicated videoconference equipment to join in sessions, simply by using a computer equipped with a camera and microphone headset.
Having enabled 12,000 videoconferences for schools over the last 12 months and offering access to a wide range of content, the JVCS stand J50 is well worth a visit.
