BCS is offering a unique opportunity for 1,000 teachers to receive free digital media skills courseware at the 2010 BETT Show.
We are pleased to announce a major opportunity for teachers and trainers to get started with digital media skills. At the BETT Show 2010, taking place at London Olympia, 13th – 16th January, (www.bettshow.com) BCS (stand no. J9) will be offering a unique opportunity for 1,000 teachers to get free access to our new Digital Creator Level 1 materials.
Hosted online, these materials provide all of the resources needed to teach some key digital media skills such as, creating, editing and sharing podcasts, digital video, animations and digital photographs.
They are perfect as an introduction for teachers and trainers who have never used digital media before and want to gain the skills themselves before teaching them to students.
The materials include comic-book style workbooks, video tutorials and sample files; everything that is needed to deliver engaging and easy to understand lessons. It demonstrates how to create exciting digital projects and comes complete with a full e-portfolio system.
We will be offering teachers the chance to register for a free term long registration to the site on stand J9. This will be offered on a strictly first-come, first-served basis. Terms and Conditions will apply, with more information available on the stand or through our BCS Limelight newsletter (to register to this newsletter please email: limelight@hq.bcs.org.uk).
